EP and Device Therapy for Allied Professionals: Applying Knowledge to Clinical Practice is a NEW one-day program presented by the Heart Rhythm Society and hosted at the Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn in Scottsdale, AZ. Download Registration Form (PDF, 166K).
The purpose of this program is to bring together allied professionals from the southwest region of the United States to discuss current practices and trends within the heart rhythm community. Through didactic sessions, panel discussions and hands-on opportunities clinicians working in device and electrophysiology labs will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to best manage arrhythmia patients.
Who Should Attend
The target audience includes nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and technologists.
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate knowledge of device interrogation and interpretation
- Understand concepts related to mapping and ablation technologies in the EP lab setting
- Discuss periprocedural patient management for EP, ablation and device therapies
- Understand ethical issues related to EP and device patient care
- Recognize the best out-patient follow-up and diagnostic methods
