Recognizes the top fellow abstract in clinical electrophysiology.
Purpose
To promote excellence in clinical research by recognizing the fellow with the highest scoring abstract in the Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation abstract categories.
Eligibility
This award is available to eligible persons submitting an abstract in the Clinical Electrophysiology or Ablation categories.
To be considered, you must indicate your interest in applying for this award during the regular abstract submission period. Abstracts must conform to the published abstract rules and procedures and be received by the deadline.
The award is open to the early career researcher one to five years out of Fellowship training. The research for the eligible abstract must have been substantially completed during this time period and must involve intact human subjects.
Awards
Award winners receive:
- Complimentary registration to the current year’s Heart Rhythm
- Commemorative plaque
- $2,500 for travel and housing expenses
- $2,000 cash award
- Honorary mention at the Heart Rhythm Awards Ceremony.

Award Process
The Heart Rhythm Program Chair and Vice Chair will select the award winner. Award selection will be based on both the relative abstract scores and relative subject matter.
