February 4, 2025 – On January 2, 2025, CMS opened the data submission period for the 2024 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance year.

Data can be submitted and updated until 8 p.m. ET on March 31, 2025.   CMS will release 2024 final scores in mid-June 2025.  Additional information can be found in the following CMS guidance documents:

CMS also recently posted numerous guidance materials related to the 2025 MIPS performance year, which can be found in the Quality Payment Program (QPP) Library.
