Safety Alerts

HRS works closely with our industry partners, domestic and global professional societies, and federal regulatory agencies to communicate safety concerns with HRS members.

Use the search engine below to find safety alerts based on the title, year, or device serial number. Filters are not required, but they can improve the search capabilities.

Clinical Resources

Authored and endorsed clinical documents provide three main components vital to advancements in the heart rhythm field: analysis of the evidence, discussion of current issues, and suggestions for clinical application.

Advocacy in Action

Advocacy in Action provides monthly updates on new or recent legislative, regulatory, payment, and coverage policy changes, HRS advocacy efforts, and other crucial information that may impact the practice of EP in the U.S.

Coding & Reimbursement

HRS manages a variety of aspects relating to the development or revision of CPT codes; recommended relative values and reimbursement rates; coverage for new technologies and revising coverage policies for existing services and procedures.

Research

The Heart Rhythm Society invests in opportunities for collaboration, discovery, debate, and publication of research to advance the understanding and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

Quality Improvement

The HRS Quality Improvement program aims to create and foster a culture of QI within the heart rhythm community.

Digital Health

In 2019, HRS established a Digital Health Working Group and launched the Scientific Sessions Digital Health Summit to begin discussing and assessing digital health opportunities and challenges. Learn what its committee have accomplished so far since its inception in 2019.

IAC Cardiac EP Accreditation

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) offers accreditation to international facilities in its diagnostic imaging (vascular testing, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology/PET/general nuclear medicine, MRI, diagnostic CT and dental CT) as well as its interventional (carotid stenting, vein treatment and management, cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular catheterization) programs.

Health Information Technology/Interoperability

Since 2005, HRS has partnered with various stakeholders to develop EP-specific standards that can be used to facilitate interoperable EHR systems.
