Throughout the year, the Scientific and Clinical Documents Committee collects ideas for document topics to ensure that the Society’s documents are timely, relevant, and impactful.
Submit your application for a chance to receive complimentary registration and travel funding for residents, cardiology and EP fellows, postdoc researchers, allied health professionals. Applications usually open in December of each year.
Suggest a session and submit an abstract for Heart Rhythm, the most prestigious meeting in EP for physicians, scientists and allied health professions. The session proposal site usually opens in May and the abstract submission site opens in October. The Late-Breaking Clinical Trials submission site opens in December.
Submit educational topics and ideas that you would like to see HRS’s Education Department pursue, including proposals for presentations and sessions.
The HRS CardiQ site showcases best practice resources for quality improvement. Share your checklists, QI-related research, templates from your own QI projects, protocols, business plans, teaching materials (for patients and staff), guidelines, white papers, etc.
Submit session ideas and abstracts dedicated to discovering cutting-edge breakthroughs, leveraging opportunities, and engaging in discussions that lead to the successful discovery of new business solutions in cardiovascular medicine. The abstract submission site usually opens at the end of January or early February. The HRX Pitch Competition submission site opens in March.
HRS has four leadership programs: for women EPs, Allied Health Professionals, and Black EPs. These programs improve inclusivity with education, coaching, and networking opportunities that strengthen participants’ leadership skills and professional growth.

The Call for Committee Volunteers is announced twice a year: once in the winter for limited committee positions with terms beginning in May and again in the spring for the majority of committees with terms beginning in October.
