World Bank Discount
Membership rates for individuals who live in countries that are classified as low or lower middle income by the World Bank.
HRS offers special membership rates for those who live in countries that are classified as low or lower-middle income by the World Bank. This is due in part to donations from members to support the Society's International Impact Initiatives Program. This program includes International Travel Scholarships to attend Scientific Sessions, International Membership Rates, and recognition for individuals who demonstrate commitment to underserved populations with the Global Humanitarian Award.
As of April 2020, membership is free for the first year for those who live in countries that are categorized as low or lower-middle income by the World Bank. After the first year, these members receive a 50% discount on the international rates.
The discounts are given upon checkout for membership applications and renewals. Members from low or lower middle income countries receive full benefits. To apply, select your occupation:
