HRS Asks Congress to Support Medical Researchers and Front-Line Workers

Recognizing the strain that the coronavirus pandemic is placing on its members, HRS sent letters urging Congress to support the research community and front-line workers. In a letter to Congressional leadership, HRS asks that the next COVID-19 legislation address the challenges faced by the medical research community during the crisis. A second letter supports legislation to provide student loan forgiveness to health care workers who have stepped into roles in emergency departments and intensive care units to take care of COVID-19 patients.
